Mallory Miller, a senior at Queen Creek High, finished second in the Division 1 girls long jump final with a personal-best effort of 18-10 (5.74m) at the Arizona State Championships at Mesa Community College. Miller and junior teammate Catherine Littlewood, who prevailed with a leap of 18-11.50 (5.77m), took the top two spots for Queen Creek.
